Begin with a discovery appointment — in person at our atelier or via video call. We listen to your vision, discuss stones, materials, and timeline, then provide a detailed proposal. 

Our bespoke ring commissions begin from $3,000 for a single piece. Bridal sets— engagement rings and wedding bands — typically begin from $5,000 depending on the stone selected. 

Most commissions are completed within six to eight weeks from the point of stone selection. Complex pieces with intricate settings or custom cut stones may take up to twelve weeks or longer. We keep you updated at every stage.

Yes. Every piece in our Collections section is available to order as shown, made to your ring size or adjusted to fit. Delivery takes six to eight weeks as these are still made to order pieces.

We do. We conduct consultations via video call and ship internationally with full insurance and secure tracked couriers. Local import duties may apply.

Yes, without exception. Every diamond we use is either GIA-certified and Kimberley Process compliant, or a certified lab-grown stone. To learn more about our sustainability and traceability practices, click here.

We welcome heirloom stones. We will assess the stone's condition and suitability for setting at no charge during your consultation, then design a piece around it. At this time, we do not offer setting services for lab grown stones sourced outside of our atelier.

We work in 14k and 18k yellow gold, white gold, rose gold, and platinum. For bespoke pieces, we do not use 9k or 10k gold as standard. On occasion, we do release limited edition silver versions of our collection items.

Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are chemically, optically, and physically identical to mined diamonds. We offer them as an alternative and are happy to discuss the trade-offs in terms of resale, environmental impact, and price at your consultation.

Yes. Every piece we make carries a two-year manufacturing warranty covering defects in materials and craftsmanship. We also offer extended protection through Montage Jewelry Care, with 3-year, 5-year, and lifetime care plans covering accidental damage, repairs, and ongoing service. Remove your jewelry before swimming, bathing, exercising, or applying lotions and perfumes. Store pieces individually in soft pouches to prevent scratching. Clean gently with warm soapy water and a soft brush, then rinse and dry thoroughly.

Our ring resizing service is available depending on your purchase and care plan selection. If you've purchased a Montage Care Plan with your piece, ring resizing is included at no additional cost. For pieces not covered by a care plan, we charge $50 for resizing.

If you are covered under the Montage Care Plan, filing a claim is the best place to start. If you have outside insurance, your insurance is another good resource on what to do if your ring is damaged. If you are not covered by either of those two options we are happy to assess the damage and perform the repairs at market rates.

We recommend an annual check-up to inspect settings, clasps, and overall condition. This is complimentary for all pieces made by our atelier.

We require a 50% deposit to confirm your commission, with the remaining balance due upon completion before shipping or pickup.

Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced, as materials and bench time are committed at that point. We are transparent about this before any deposit is taken.

All pieces are shipped in our signature packaging via fully insured, signature-required courier.

Yes — and we encourage it. Collection at our atelier gives us the opportunity to ensure the piece fits perfectly and for you to experience it in person before leaving.
